Only specific materials can be used even for private aircraft interiors. For example all materials are required to have an 8110-3 which means they need to pass FAA burn requirements. 2-D and 3-D modeling software allows the customer to preview colors textures patterns and materials. The final stage of this software is a photorealistic 3-D rendering showing the customer a true colour visualization of how the new interior environment will look and feel. This rendering along with the colour board of materials is a complete package for jet interior design.
While looking at aircraft charter rates you will have to consider the weather a big and uncertain factor. Most responsible charter companies have up-to-date weather information and you should we able to calculate possible delays and added charges before booking a charter. For instance due to bad weather the airport you want to land on becomes unreachable and you have to redirect the flight to another airport. Consider the added costs now in terms of transport to the point of destination from the new airport etc. If you are well informed you can bargain over these factors to adjust the aircraft charter rates before flying.
As we took our seats 2D and 2F in a full Business-Class cabin National Post and Globe and Mail newspapers were handed out along with a Spanish language Chilean paper. A bottle of water was waiting in each seat for each passenger however there was no pre-departure drink service for the Business-Class passengers (orange juice champagne wine etc) as is standard on other airlines. I decided the check the magazine rack for some interesting in-flight reading material only to find Canadian Living Chatellaine Canada Food and Wine and Canadian Fishing; titles that are of little interest to most business travelers. There were no business and news magazines such as The Economist Business Week or Time which one would naturally expect to be provided. Our flight was under the command of Captain Green and he did not provide the passengers with a welcome aboard announcement telling us about flying time planned routing enroute weather or weather at destination.
