We were now 90 minutes ahead of our arrival at Toronto. Fifteen minutes later a cold breakfast plate was served consisting of cold meats and a generous mixture of fresh fruits (including grapefruit mango orange and watermelon) complemented by bread preservatives cereals yogurts and other drinks served from the cart. I thought this was the extent of the breakfast but to my pleasant surprise a hot tomato and ham omllette plate with sausage and potatoes followed which was very nice.
Owning a private airplane is far more than simply a matter of saving money over other forms of private air travel or even taking advantages of opportunities that would be unavailable otherwise. The advantages of private jet ownership can make financial considerations secondary and these benefits should also be weighed when considering whether to buy a private aircraft.
Not everyone needs to personalise their private jet to indulge their taste for luxury. Some people are quite content to merely fly first-class provided their every whim is catered to and their every comfort is assured. Airlines such as Etihad have cottoned on to the needs of the super rich and have taken first-class flying to stratospheric levels. Even Etihad`s economy class is designed to make travellers feel more like valued customers and less like cattle bound for slaughter.
